DMC Stitching Needles

For stitching rather be on felt or fabric, the needle and its size is essential. I also use embroidery needles that don’t have the sharp edge for adding buttons to crochet or knit items. But for felt stitching, I want a sharper point.

Thread

I love working with DMC threads. It comes normally in 6 strands and for stitching I separate the skein to use 3 strands.
I also love the ombre colors as well, it’s fun working with the thread as it changes colors.
Amazon carries this in packs and so do these other companies that I buy from:

Crochet Hooks

Just like knitting needles, crochet hooks comes in many materials and sizes, I started out using plastic and then aluminum.
Eventually I used extra long ergonomic aluminum crochet hook with a smooth and tapered tip. However, after my injury I couldn’t crochet without pain.
Hubby got me some extra cushion to go over my hooks and that has allowed me to crochet with chronic pain.
This is a set of 9 size hooks and the bundle comes with some extras like stitch markers, needles and a case.

Stitch Markers

Stitch markers are one of my absolute must-haves for crochet and knitting. This is a 100-pack small size in assorted colors.
There’s different styles of stitch markers bu the reason I like these so much is that they clamp in place so they will never fall out when I put my project away to work on later.
They’re pretty strong too and easy to open and close.
