Hiya my friends! Ever since I got the Sew Mighty Multifunction Portable Sewing Machine, I’ve been spending a lot of time learning about it and what it can do. It’s a fun machine for me and I found some really easy project tutorials on YT so I tried making a mini tote bag yesterday and boy did I have fun! In fact, I made 2 of them!
I think it took me an hour to make the first bag and then a little shorter for the second. The fabric I used is from a fat quarter bundle I purchased on AZ. I’ll have links below. My bags measure about 8-1/2″ width x 8″ length minus the handles.

The bag part was made from 2 sheets of the same fabric but I decided to make the handles with 2 different sizes and I think they place nicely together.
Below is the video that inspired me to make this mini bag, if it doesn’t play on your device, you can watch it on YT here.
These first bags I made don’t have any lining so definitely wouldn’t be carrying anything heavy in them, however that said, they are so cute and perfect to carry small lightweight things like a ball of yarn or a plushie like the one I have below, perfect for a gift!

A fun starting project and easy to make a bunch for like I said gifting but selling also! Lining a bag is on my to-do list, thanks for Reading!
