Throwback from the Past - Fiesta Crochet Shawl

Throwback from the Past – Fiesta Shawl

Here’s something I hadn’t seen in years! It is so funny to go back to earlier years when I was crocheting everyday. I loved making this shawl and do you know I have no idea what happened to it. I suspect that maybe I donated it or it got lost in the moving.

But anyway it’s a shawl I crocheted using different types of yarn as well as color. I called it my “Fiesta Shawl“. Hope you enjoy the picture and a little backstory of it too!

I’m working on another sashay shawl that will be very different in color. I made my first one last Saturday and wore it to church Sunday. This next one I’m doing will go in the Etsy store. I got a lot of compliments on the shawl and I was so glad that I could mix sashay with regular yarn. Red Heart also has a free pattern but I made this with my own pattern. Theirs was too complicated for me though!

My “Fiesta” Sashay Shawl was made with Red Heart Boutique Sashay yarn mixed with Caron Simply Soft Autumn Red and Red Heart Frosted Green.
